Icons

We believe the games that are most successful are the ones that are not pay-to-win and thus we want to limit how our NFTs impact gameplay. Additionally, we believe creating a strong backstory and lore behind our characters and world is a vital way to sell our users on our ecosystem, beyond just our core game. For this, we want stronger control of the aesthetics of our icons and our NFTs will not be cryptographically generated. Instead, we will launch with around 20 different Icon Characters and add additional ones each quarter. Each Icon character will have its own unique attributes, abilities, aesthetics, and backstories. Similar to popular MOBAs, we expect dedicated users to eventually have at least one Icon token of each Icon character. Aside from a few status and vanity attributes, the Icon Token serves mostly as a game progression token.

An Icon token is defined by the following attributes:

  1. TokenId

  2. IconCharacterId

  3. IconCharacterSerialNumber

  4. GameProgression: Level & XP

  5. GameMastery: Stars

  6. Title & Tags

  7. SavedGames

The SavedGames is a particularly interesting and novel feature that we will introduce. After a memorable game, users can save their gameId onto their Icon token, creating a rich history of the games this token has played in. Our goal is for this to mimic a signed sports jersey.

GameMastery creates a 5 level star system that can only be unlocked and upgraded after certain achievements and milestone criteria have been met with that Icon token.
